It's been quite a busy and eventful past few months, but here's a run-down of the highlights! I feel so lucky, and am honored to be able to work with so many amazing musicians!
-My first saxophone quartet, corpus, fractum was read and recorded by the Radnofsky Saxophone Quartet in January. You can listen to the rough cut from the session here.
-I received a commission from the Boston Conservatory Wind Ensemble for a piece to be premiered in February of 2016.
-colluvium received its world premiere at UCSD
-corpus, fractum was named a finalist for the Cortona Prize and will be performed in Italy in June as a Special Selection by the h2 Saxophone Quartet
-selective defrosting was chosen from UCSD graduate student works and performed by the St. Lawrence String Quartet. You can view the performance here
-I received a commission from Transient Canvas for a piece for marimba and bass clarinet to be premiered in October 2014
-I finished press, which will be premiered at OSU on April 23rd
-I'm also working on a fixed media piece to be performed during Springfest in April, and have started a piece for Talea Ensemble which will be performed in October as part of their residency here at UCSD.
