I’ll be headed to Italy in June to attend the Cortona Sessions for New Music as a composition fellow.
The lovely folks over at wildUP have asked me to write them a piece. I’ve decided to write a trombone concerto for the intrepid Matt Barbier, of a silhouette of constrained motion fame.
Percussionist Joe Tucker gave two performances of ‘excision no.1’ this past week in New York with The Curiosity Cabinet, including the premiere performance on a very rainy Thursday night in New York City and a second at Stony Brook University. Stay tuned for videos!
